PitchOverlay is a browser-based tool that analyses football video on your own device: player tracking, pass and possession chains, overlay rendering, CSV export and a printable report. Analysis runs locally; we do not host, process or store your video.
You may use the public workbench free of charge for personal, coaching and club-internal purposes. You may not resell, sublicense or rebrand the tool, or operate it as a service offered to third parties, without written permission.
All tracking, pass detection, possession share, distance and speed values are estimates produced by computer vision from a single camera. They are not official statistics and they can be wrong, most often when the ball is small in frame, when players are occluded, or when the camera moves. The workbench provides correction tools and the report states its own limitations for exactly this reason. You are responsible for reviewing the data before you use it in a report, a decision, or anything you share publicly.
You keep all rights to the video you analyse and to the data you export. You are responsible for having the right to analyse that footage — including any consent required for filming players, and any competition or league rules about recording matches. You must not use the tool to process material you have no right to use.
The free browser workbench is provided without any availability guarantee. Features may change, and the waitlist for a paid club tier describes intentions, not commitments: pricing, scope and timing may change before release. If a paid tier launches, its own terms will apply to it.
The tool loads third-party libraries in your browser, including MediaPipe Tasks Vision with the EfficientDet-Lite0 model (Apache-2.0, Google) and optionally ONNX Runtime Web (MIT). Their licences govern those components. Model files are fetched from public CDNs; if a CDN is unreachable, detection will not start, and the tool will say so.
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the analysis will be accurate or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any lost data, lost opportunity, coaching decision or selection decision made using the tool's output. Keep your own copies of project files and exports.
